August 2011 update

  • All items in the Home section (that includes "Global context" and " Desertification research") have been updated.
  • The content of the "Key messages" section has been reorganised and extended.

March 2011 update

  • The organisation and content of all the WB sections has been revised and updated.

December 2010 update

  • The major part of the reorganisation of the HIS has now been completed, although many of the section introductions are still in Draft. A new "Key messages" section highlights our main dissemination material; the old Themes section has been renamed "DESIRE work plan" and the titles for the 6 Work Blocks have been revised to make the sequence of work more self-evident; to avoid the navigation errors mentioned before, all the study site articles are now only accessible through the study site menus; details of the study site research teams have been copied from the DESIRE site to new "Contact the study site team" pages.

November 2010 update

  • We are currently working on improving the navigation round the HIS, to eliminate some inconsistencies caused by the menus. It is expected that it will take two weeks to complete the work. If you need access to any particular part of the HIS during this time, and can't find it, please contact us.
